Drones attacked the Bashkir Soda Company facility in Sterlitamak, Russia, early on 29 October, causing smoke and prompting temporary flight restrictions at Ufa airport. The company is listed in Russia’s closed register of defence enterprises and is described as the country’s only producer of a component used in protective materials for body armour.
